Ceramic fiber modular parts are made from high-qualityceramic fiber bulks using vacuum-forming technology. They can be manufacturedinto rigid, self-supporting products with excellent high-temperatureperformance. All shaped products exhibit low shrinkage within their temperaturerange and retain high insulation, lightweight, and impact-resistantcharacteristics. The material is easy to be cut, sawn, drilled and punched.During use, the products show good abrasion and spalling resistance and are notwetted by most molten metals.
Ceramic fiber modular products include tubular, conical,domed, and box-shaped forms. Most shaped products are customized according tocustomer requirements, such as casting caps and sleeves for the non-ferrousmetal industry and vacuum-formed sight ports for the petrochemical industry.
